Adding workers, setting roles, and managing seasonal crew

Build your worker roster the right way — with guidance for seasonal hires, permissions, contact info, and archiving workers.

Roles explained

  • Owner — full access including billing.
  • Field Lead — can create and assign tasks, manage workers, no billing.
  • Crew — can only view and update their own tasks.
  • Harvest — same as Crew but hours tracked separately in reports.

Adding a worker

  1. Click Workers, then + Add Worker.
  2. Enter name, phone, role.
  3. Set status: Active, Seasonal, or On Leave.
  4. Send invite.

Seasonal workflow

  1. Pre-season: add seasonal workers (inactive, don't count against plan).
  2. Season start: click Activate All Seasonal.
  3. Season end: click End Season. Everyone flips back to inactive.
