Working offline in the field — how sync actually works
FarmFlow works without cell service. Here's exactly what's cached, what syncs when, and how to handle conflicts.
What gets cached
- Assigned tasks for the current week.
- Task details, fields, worker names.
Sync indicator
- Black cloud — connected and synced.
- Grey — offline, saving locally.
- Orange with number — offline with N pending changes.
- Red — rare sync conflict.
Conflict handling
If two people edit the same task offline, the latest save wins. The losing change is saved in the task history.
